Take your team members outside for some holiday team building games for adults that will stress teamwork, creativity and collaboration.
Rope Pull in the Snow
Did you ever have a tug of war in a yard or field of snow? This is one of the holiday team building games for adults that is perfect for a winter day. Break your team up into two teams and have them prepare for a slip-sliding tug of war. In the snow create a shallow and wide trench that will serve as the middle line. When the middle line is established, have each team take a position at the opposite ends of a thick, long rope. When you tell the teams to begin, the pulling starts, and the team that pulls the entire opposing team over to its side of the middle line wins.
Strike Out with Snowballs
This is one of those holiday team building games for adults that will have team members testing their throwing skills. Pile up snow to make three bases and a mound for a pitcher. Make the mounds two feet high and approximately twenty feet apart. Build a pyramid with tin cans on each of the base mounds.
The goal for each team member is to knock down the pyramids of cans, from first base to third, by whirling snowballs from the mound for the pitcher. The team member who knocks down all of the pyramids with the fewest number of pitches is the winner.
Two Stepping in Snow Boots
Another one of the holiday team building games for adults you can have team members participate in is a difficult version of follow the leader. Break your team into two teams and select one member from each team to be the leader, the player who makes a path in the snow.
Once the path has been made, the challenge is for each team member to step in exactly the same footsteps. The goal is to make it appear as if only one team member has walked over the path. Get your team members ready for a fun test of agility and balance.
